The AXA Art Prize US is a juried student art competition and exhibition of 40 two-dimensional figurative works: paintings, drawings, and original printmaking. One First Prize of $10,000 and one Second Prize of $5,000 is awarded to two of the 40 student exhibition finalists. 

The AXA Art Prize US is now entering its seventh year in the US. The prize builds on a 10-year legacy of a previous prize, which was established in the UK and recognized young artists through a prestigious London exhibition and catalogue publication.
